У роботі досліджуються інновації у виробництві листового скла флоат-методом. Об’єктом дослідження є сам флоат-процес та його ключові удосконалення, впроваджені у період з 2014 по 2025 рік. Мета огляду – проаналізувати значні технологічні досягнення, зумовлені глобальною увагою до екологічної стійкості та загальним технологічним прогресом. Основні результати дослідження висвітлюють прогрес у кількох напрямках: вдосконалення конструкцій плавильних печей для підвищення енергоефективності та гнучкості виробництва; інтеграція сталих практик, включаючи використання альтернативних видів палива, збільшення частки склобою та розвиток технологій уловлювання вуглецю; еволюція технологій нанесення покриттів (низькоемісійних, сонцезахисних, самоочисних); зростаюча роль автоматизації, штучного інтелекту та цифровізації для оптимізації процесів; поява спеціалізованих видів скла (смарт-скло, сонячне скло).
